Live long and prosper?  Drink and be merry?  Why we're here is a question we all must deal with, but man do people do it in some interesting ways.

I agree with what the book says.  The message is good and like Spike said - do the right thing.  When humanity as a whole can accept the facts without the spokesperson, then we're ready for the space age.

I think life is an opportunity.  The ability to reason and act is great - would you ever want to reincarnate as a plant? - and it should be used to it's full potential.
