Oops, I sorta lost track of this
section. I stopped working for Tactical Computer Company in the
end of 1998. My next job was at an Internet service provider called NetLink.
I was mainly a tech support dude, but I also did some web work while
I was there. It only lasted a month because at my 30-day review
I expressed displeasure about only getting a $.25 raise, and that was
that.
Realizing that working for somebody else and
being taken advantage of (my skillz that is) just wasn't going to
work. So, I started my own company, CompuSense.
So far it's been me, myself and I, but I soon hope to have employees
hired help of my very own. The main products & services are
custom-built computers, web site management, home/office networking,
and computer training.
As of 2000 I've incorporated, so now it's
CompuSense, Inc. I've got a decent sized client base and things
are growing every day. One of my biggest customers is a
construction company, and pretty soon I'll be networking brand new homes and
offices. The amount of paperwork and stuff like that is very
overwhelming, but I'm getting by OK. I've got a lawyer, and
accountant, and a banking advisor, so the team is coming along
nicely. There are some opportunities for a retail location that
I've been looking into, so we shall see where that takes me.
