| As I said before at the time of our move I was in the middle of
1st grade. I was still an innocent little kid and I really wasn't much of a
trouble-maker, yet. I only remember two things about my first day
in my new city; I couldn't catch Curt
during our game of tag at recess, and if it wasn't for Rob Torchia (Dwob) I would never
have gotten home. You have to understand the situation: I moved in
to a neighborhood called Echo Hills which has over 300 homes in it.
We were supposed to be the last house built in there and we were all the way in the
very bottom/back of the whole thing. (Click
here to see a view of Echo Hills from space - it's in the very
bottom-right corner of the map.) There's three entrances and about a million
streets, so I was clueless as to where my house was. Some how Rob knew where the
'new kid' was from and directed me to my home where my wonderful mother was waiting with
cookies and milk! :) |
