6:55p - All days are spent creating personal history, but today
will go down in my book as one of the more memorable days.
Woke up a little late because I started playing Age of
Empires a little too late last night. Got a call from a customer -
they needed a new hard drive and a cd-burner for their computer.
Cool, I'll run over to my distributor and grab 'em, be there in an hour
or so.
The rain was comin' down pretty hard. The whole
east coast is gettin' hit pretty hard because of
Isidor.
I was even taking it slow, I promise.
I was merging on to 77S from 480E and I did a complete
360 across 3 lanes and hit a stinkin' guard rail! My air bags
didn't go off because I almost pulled out of the spin and
kept going. A bunch of people stopped to see if I was OK over the
next 10 minutes. The guy that stopped first was standing right
outside my car when another car did a 360 and flew in to the grass just
behind me! That scared the shit out of me, but it was raining so I
didn't want to get out of my car. DOAH!
It got the front-right corner of the car pretty good.
I had my digi w/me but of course I forgot to pop the memory card in
after I transferred the last batch of photos to my main PC. What a
sucka. Village Auto Body
has the car now (I did their site) and hopefully it won't cost too much
to fix 'cause I'm not going through insurance with this one.
Sucks.
Luckily I was wearing my belt. I'm just so glad I
didn't hurt anybody either. Now I'm pimpin' this shitty,
bright-red 4-door Cavalier from Alamo. $22.99 a day? That'd
be just about $690 a month. Shit, I could be pimpin' a nice BMW
for that kind of loot! :)
And there's still 5 hours left today....
Tonight is Ross & Nathan's BYOB house warming party.
That's "Bring Your Own Bottle". It's gonna be silly. Pics to
