MY PEOPLE! How goes it? I'm sitting here, reading
my new Network Computing magazine, and listening
to the Osbourne family on the Howard Stern show. Did you
know that Howard is responsible for the idea of putting the
Osbourne family on a TV show? Yes, this is true.
He put the idea on the table and got left out of everything to
do with it.
Anyway,
I love these guys. I listen to Howard just about every
morning - Tony
got me in to the show. I've been watching "The
Osbourne's" on MTV lately because it's f'n hilarious!
Ozzy Osbourne cracks me up! First of all, I love the
British accent. My time in London (yeah, that whole 5
days!) really put a desire to live there in my heart.
Second, I have the same infatuation for reality TV shows that
the rest of our nation does. I watched
"Survivor"
&
"The Amazing Race" last night.
So put these two great things together, Howard
and the Osbourne family, and this is some great radio.
They've talked about Ozzy's allowance, Jack's pot problem, and
more. I just can't wait for the next show.
Cavs and Indians both lost last night.
Actually, they didn't both lose - they both got blown away.
Pops and I were watching some of the Cavs game last night and
it was disgusting. They were shooting like 60% from the
foul line, missing every damn shot they took from the floor,
turning the ball over a gazillion times. Wait, I gotta
find the final number on that one. Here's the name of
the article I found on ESPN
- "Celtics outscore Cavs 54-29 after
halftime". Twenty-three turnovers. You can't win
games like that. :(
The Tribe lost an exhibition game against
Atlanta 6 to 0. I told you were should have kept Carlos!
LOL
I'm part of the AOL Beta Test team and they're
currently testing a version of AOL 7 with Netscape built in,
instead of Microsoft's Internet Explorer. MS and AOL
have been buddies since way back. IE has come with AOL
for as long as I can remember, although when I first got in to
the web I did use Netscape for a bit. Then Microsoft's
dominance and ability to bundle what they want you to use with
the operating system, and I was an Internet Explorer user.
Hmmm... monopoly power? You tell me.
Shower time. Gotta get things rollin'.
