5:38p - Howdy gang. Thanks for all the birthday
wishes! :) Can't believe it - another year gone by.
I'm always thinkin' back to the days of even being a 5th grader seemed
like they wouldn't come. "College" used to have this
weird meaning to me, like it was such the point when you were OLD.
Back then that old seemed like it would be the greatest. Man, what
I'd give to be 8 again. Ya feel me? When the only worries
were where to build the next fort and how I was going to hide the latest
hole in the wall from mom and dad. That was also the time of huge
birthday parties, lots of awesome new toys to play with, custom Star
Wars birthday cakes, stuff like that. These days it's just funny
birthday cards and hugs.
Ah, but I guess there are advantages to being this
old. For instance, tonight I can go out and get completely
drunk. Wait, I don't drink... much. I didn't drink on my
21st bday, isn't that a stinkin' shame. I drank my first 40oz.
last year for my birthday, so maybe I'll do something new this
year. Hmm... maybe I can drink a beer and enjoy it for the first
time... LOL
Did you see the front
page of my site? I found this slick little wavin' flag and
then I grabbed the Red Cross logo. How patriotic.
Oh, I've got a huge announcement too. I guess it's
a good way to remember the date since it's my birthday and all.
Anyway, CompuSense is officially no longer going to be a 1-man
operation. I'm expanding. My boy Jeff, aka 'Mo', is joining
me full-time as of this Wednesday. Like they always say
"Two full-time, dedicated geeks are always better
than one."
