5:18pm - I don't really have much to say. Well, I'm
sure I have lots to say, in fact I know I do, but I'm just not sure if
I want to say it. I guess it's one of those mental things b/c I
wouldn't be sittin' here doing this if I didn't want to vent,
right? Right.
The other day we were at Brian's
pad 'cause his mom is on vacation. I don't even remember what
the conversation was, but I think someone was singing some Chicago
song and they didn't know the words. Sara's
comment was "You should know the words Ed." Then
silence. Everyone heard it, I just laughed. I know she was
making some kind of reference to my love situation. Then when I
left to pick up my pizza, someone put "Kimmy My Love"
in my celly's phone book. Hmmm. So much fun hangin' out
with my "friends".
In other, less annoying news...
Today was a good day. I did my little workout this morning,
and then I had appointments so I was out and about until an hour
ago. Billable hours = happy Ed. Plus, I'm probably going
to network a Holiday Inn, so that'll rock. Right now it's just
going to be for their internal offices, but I'm hoping to weasel my
way into networking the entire hotel. I know if I was staying
there I'd pay an extra $10 a night for broadband 'net access.
I just talked to T-Bone
a little bit ago and it looks like it's jam-time tonight at the
farm. Jammin' with Bide and Tony is so much fun. It's the
greatest feeling sitting there with friends playing music. My
skillz on the drums are improving. I've figured some cool stuff
out on my VDrums. They
really are amazing pieces of electronics. I got this sweet demo
video for 'em too that's really sweet.
OK, I've got to meet a customer at 6, so I guess that's it for
right now. I'm going to take my camera and get pictures of the
setup at the farm, so I'll probably post those later tonight.
