On Friday I got to stay home instead of taking my usual trip
out to Strongsville for work. This is a great part about my job, I don't have to be
at the office to be on the clock! Anyway, I worked on my computer until about 3
o'clock and then hopped in the shower. As usual I was early but I had a few errands
to run before going to Sara's. I forgot my jacket and had to go back to my dad's and
this took care of the extra time I had on my hands. (I hate being late but I hate
being too early even more.) We met at around 4:30 at Sara's house. The group
consisted of me, Sara, Missy and Matt. We got the pictures out of
the way and left for Windows on the River down in the flats. I got to drive my dad's car so we got there pretty
quick. :) This was all OK because Sara and Missy had to go lay claim to a
section of tables so that their friends could all sit near each other. (We ended up
'guarding' 3 or 4 tables for the better part of an hour.) Since the dance floor is
so small they have tables covering it for the dinner portion of the night, hence we can't
dance until after dinner. Just like last year the food wasn't too great, but what
can you expect when they have to cook for 500? After the dance we went to After-Prom
and somehow managed to stay awake. From there we went home for some sleep before
heading up to Sandusky for the rest of the weekend. All in all it was a great time! |
